Mr. Hill was a former member of the county, state and Bar associa- tions. He donated the land for The Montgomery Academy and also served as president of the school. Mr. Hill was a lifelong mem-ber of St.
John's Episco pal Church. Mr. Hill, a member the vestry, also served as a junior and senior warden of the church. He was a charter member and former chairman of the Montgom-" ery City Planning Commission. Mr.
Hill was a former president of the Montgomery bar associa: tion, Montgomery Lions and Blue and Gray Association. Mr. Hill received his bachelor; of arts and bachelor of law degree from the University of Alabama. He was Phi Beta Kappa, Omicroiv, Delta Kappa, and twice received the Phi Alpha Delta award for the: highest average in law school. He served on active duty in the U.S.
Naval Reserve during World-War II. Mr. Hill was commissioned as lieutenant junior grade in 1942 and left the Navy as a lieutenant-commander in 1945. Services are set for 1:30 p.m. Sunday from St.
John's Episcopal Church, with the Revs. William Holcombe and James I. Walter officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery. The family has asked that memorials be made Ao the charity of one's choice in lieu of flowers.

She held degrees in education from Jacksonville State University, Auburn University and an honorary Doctor of Laws from Livingston University. She held honors in Pi Kappa Pi, the United Daughters of the Confederacy and the DAR.
