For the record, I’m a big fan of carbs! Carbs are essential for my weight loss and muscle building goals. However, there really is a limit to each macronutrient, and carbs is the easiest one to overdo it.

So, starting your day with a lower carb breakfast is a good idea when your overall goal is to reduce your carbs.

I’m also a big fan of eggs!! But I’ve had many people email me looking for low carb ideas that didn’t include eggs for one reason or another. It could be an allergy, or that they’re just tired of eggs!

So, here’s my favorite 15 breakfast ideas, without eggs!

#15 Creamy Chicken Soup for breakfast on a cold day

It might feel strange to have soup for breakfast, but in the winter, this can really hit the spot! Eat with some hot cocoa or cider, and you’ll be warmed up for the whole day.

This is my absolute favorite breakfast. I can eat Greek Yogurt all day every day, and never get sick of it. Serve it with some low carb fruit, low carb bread and turkey bacon, and you’ve got a delicious, balanced breakfast!

  • 1 5.3 oz Two Good blueberry yogurt cup 3 carb 80 cal 2 fat,
  • ¼ cup blueberries 5 carbs 20 calories 0 fat,
  • 2 slices of turkey bacon 1 carb 4 fat 60 cal,
  • 1 slice Paleo bread 6 gm carbs, 60 calories, 3 fat.

#13 Breakfast Sandwich Delight…BLT Style!

As far as low carb bread goes, the Carbonaut gets some pretty good reviews. I’ve made this breakfast sandwich with lettuce, bacon, and tomatoes for a yummy, portable, low carb idea.

  • 2 tbsp whipped cream cheese 50 calories, 4 fat, 2 carb
  • 1 romaine lettuce leaf 5 calories, 0 fat, .5 carb

This is a great breakfast if you make it for dinner and have it for leftovers. But with the veggies and sausage, it tastes more like breakfast than dinner to me!
