  • Profit Sharing

    Every Averitt associate has a retirement account set up to help plan for the future. One way that account grows is through our Profit Sharing plan. Profit Sharing is an exciting opportunity
    for you to share in the rewards of our efforts, with a portion of our profits given back to you as monthly direct deposits into your retirement account. You have a direct impact on Profit Sharing by referring new associates who share our team’s vision, avoiding accidents and injuries, reducing costs, eliminating waste and listening to customers so we can provide innovative and creative solutions that our competitors can’t.   • Medical, Dental and Vision Benefits

    As a new full-time associate, you can enjoy family and individual BlueCross BlueShield medical coverage with two choices (a traditional health plan or a high-deductible health plan), dental, vision, prescription, telemedicine and hearing benefits package ALL for as low as $97.55 weekly ($37.35 per week for individual plans). * New associates must complete 30 days of service to be eligible to participate in our health benefits.

  • Prescription Coverage

    Whether it's a limited-use antibiotic to knock out that nasty bug, or regular preventive medications to keep you rolling, our prescription benefit is the comprehensive plan you need to stay healthy. Plus, you can save money with mail order and 90-day prescriptions!

  • 401(k) Retirement Plan Options

    You can make contributions to a retirement account through our traditional and Roth 401(k) plans. Choose to contribute from as little as 1% to as much as 75% of your pay on a pretax basis through weekly payroll deductions. You are eligible to participate 30 days after your date of hire as long as you’re age 18 or older.

  • Paid Time Off (PTO)

    We understand that part of being successful on the job is having time away to relax, refresh and refocus. Paid Time Off begins after 90 days of service.

    * NOTE: your first “calendar year” includes any portion of the first calendar year in which you begin your employment, and will not necessarily be a full twelve-month period. For example, if you are hired in April, your first calendar year would be April through December. Note as well, if you begin your employment after September in any given year, you will not be able to complete 90 days of employment before the year end, and thus will not be able to schedule any PTO until the following calendar year.

  • Holidays

    Our paid company holidays begin after 30 days of service:

    New Year's Day
    Memorial Day
    Independence Day (July 4th)
    Labor Day
    Thanksgiving (Thursday and Friday)
    Christmas Eve
    Christmas Day
  • Company-Paid Life and Disability Coverage

    To help protect your family, we provide Basic Life and AD&D insurance for you and Dependent Life insurance for your
    spouse and children at no cost. You're eligible for this coverage after a 30-day waiting period.

    In the unfortunate event of an accident or illness that keeps you out of work, we also provide short-term disability coverage – available at no cost to you after one year of service. This benefit ensures that you continue to receive a portion of your income for up to 26 weeks in the event of a disability.

  • Flexible Spending and Health Savings Accounts

    Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) allow you to set aside money from your paycheck to pay health care and dependent care expenses with tax-free dollars.

    Associates enrolled in the HDHP can use a Health Savings Account (HSA) to pay medical, prescription drug, dental
    and vision expenses with tax-free dollars. Averitt contributes up to $20/week into each associate's HSA.

  • Hearing Care Benefits

    Associates and dependents are provided coverage for hearing exams, hearing aid devices and hearing loss services.

  • Family and Personal Counseling

    Our assistance program offers free, confidential services to help associates and family members with a wide range of issues. This service is provided to all associates regardless of enrollment in our benefits. Associates can receive solutions now for issues such as:

    • Relationship and parenting concerns
    • Stress, anxiety, depression and substance abuse
    • Referrals for child care, home health care, pet sitting and more
    • Legal and financial questions
  • Tobacco Cessation Programs

    Breaking free from nicotine dependence is not the only reason to quit smoking – cigarette smoke contains more than 7,000 toxic chemicals that can cause serious health problems, numerous diseases and death. Averitt offers a program that provides free medications and support to help you kick the habit for good. Plus, being tobacco-free saves you money on your weekly benefits premiums!

  • Referral Rewards: $1,000 per Hired Referral in 30 Days

    Our associates are the best recruiters we have, because they already know people who would fit with our team. We call this finding People Like You. Finding new associates to grow our team will reward you by strengthening our future, as well as reward you financially with bonuses for referring others who become Averitt associates.
